Why Bmw Called Beamer

Ghana, complete visiting

After three weeks in which I was riding the motorcycle through Ghana (with insurance and valid driver's license) am Yesterday I arrived back in Kpalimé. Behind me are good 3000km on Ghanaian soil and togoischem during which I met a lot of people, landscapes have seen and experienced a lot.
During the journey I have had a kind of travel book that I will present here. Have fun reading! And all subsequently a happy new year! Have now written a complete travel ready.

18/12/2010
Kpalimé à Lomé à Sodakopé (Ghana) ; 268km
· in Lomé to Ghana border crossing, officials have ever looked through papers, filled out many documents, not so easy to come to Ghana, we also have the most border crossing selected
· late evening arrival in Sodakopé, only an emergency solution, not a very nice place Ada next morning just after

19/12/2010
Sodakopé à Ada Foah 64km
· Finally, on the sea! Totally beautiful beach on a promontory on which our houses are, where we will spend the night. Today pleasant short drive
· When you pay, then some problems with the money, because we have not really come to CFA convert into Ghanaian Cedi. Fortunately, the staff € also accepts that while we still had

20/12/2010
Ada Foah à Kokrobite ; ; 142km
· today had quite a slow drive through Accra, the capital of Ghana, bypasses's not all just storage , fortunately we were able to meander through the Motos quite well. Were rewarded with a pretty cool campsite where we met many other travelers, including a Briton, who was just on a motorcycle Sahra has crossed his route: London à South Africa
· If using close to the guide found an Italian restaurant that is a guy who arrived by bicycle from Italy to Ghana is. My first pizza after five months!

21/12/2010
Kokrobite à Cape Coast ; ; 150km
· Super Street! Are driven directly by the sea to the former slaves shipped city. Cape Coast was our volunteer Togo fairly impressive, we predicted the city would be pretty small, but there were supermarkets, banks, etc. Almost like in Europe ...
· Here in Cape Coast it the largest fort in the colonial period, from which slaves were shipped out to Europe and America, directly overlooks the sea, dotted with military installations. Hardly imagine what happened here.

22/12/2010
Cape Coast à Kakum National Park ; 87km
· today to relax just a little day trip to a nearby national park where we connected with bridges on platforms the rain forest views can be seen from a different perspective. For the price of 15 GHC (about 7.50 €) but a bit short

12/23/2010
Cape Coast à Green Turtle Lodge ; 233 km
· Now we are arriving at our Christmas destination. Beach, palm trees and ocean. This a pretty nice property - the Green Turtle Lodge was a Couple from England set out to protect the goal at the beach nesting sea turtles and sensitize the population in the neighboring villages for their protection

24th - 27 12-2010
Green Turtle Lodge ; ; 0km
· the days pass, I feel like paradise. Up in the morning, breakfast basket, then to the beach, maybe in the water. Have the lodge's own surfboard I discovered on the back and try again, often it ends up that I somehow clap on the board and then fall head first into the water:-D
· ; have many Frewillige from Ghana made was almost time to have new people around.

28.12-2010
Green Turtle Lodge à Kumasi 338km
· Today I was feeling almost back in Togo - the road was so blatantly bad, hardly vortstellbar ... and the Mindet 200km long. At noon we were lucky at the track in synchronization will fail village was a Super Fast Food found where we were then able to provide you with Fried Chicken and Fried Rice. Fast food, which is found throughout Ghana, the jeddoch is not good in all of Ghana.

28.12.2010
Kumasi                                                                                   0km
· Today we have done to the city. A huge monster of a city with veeeery much traffic. Still, very interesting, did it too in our Restaurant Guide advertised and after five months the first time again eat Chinese. Coming out of the restaurant we had a well-known "ritual" deal. Once people realize who owns the bikes, they come running up on you and expect you to give them money because they finally had all the time paying attention to the machines. Kumasi is very dangerous you really have to take care, give me some money ... Is up to you how he decides on the situation ...

29/12/2010
Kumasi à Buipe 367km
· At today traveled route you could pretty well the transition from tropical to savannah monitor. The landscape became more brown and less green than a week before, the air gets hotter, all clothes are dusty. Buipe arrived in the evening, a village on the northern foothills of the Volta Lake. When we arrived, everything was covered in light mist in the air, the chirping of crickets. The sun has just gone under, totally glaring light.

30.12-31.12.2010
Buipe à Mole National Park à Tamale 334km
· in Mole National Park we were originally Year spend, but are only one night and then went down quickly to Tamale. The park itself is huge, here's elephants, antelope and all kinds of monkeys, but the accommodation here so overpriced and run down that we are not the operators wanted to throw more money than necessary in the throat.
Finally, we have chosen the cheapest but also most exciting place to stay. Together with an armed guide are made in the evening with a group of British, Canadians and Germans moved us into the park and spent the night in a tree house in the middle spent in the park. Although we were eventually freezing cold, but it was an incomparable Atmosphere. About the night sky and around us, no cries of hyenas, monkeys and, unfortunately, not elephants.
· On New Year's Eve, we are now in Tamale. After a small collision with some traffic policemen of the year again wanted to make money from stupid tourists, we are in the evening has returned to a restaurant to celebrate the year at. Because of the distance to date, mileage and a much too cozy bed I've slept through New Year's Eve, however.

01.01.2011
Tamale to Bolgatanga ; ; 207km
· The name is also the only interesting thing about the city. Planted in the middle of the desert a pretty dirty and unfriendly town, more quickly.
· The detour to the north has been worthwhile if only for the trip to the Tongo Whispering Rocks, a rock formation in the middle the desert. When we got was it just hot lunch and hot. We felt like the middle of the desert. The feeling of standing in such a remote area is difficult to describe.

01/02/2011
Bolgatanga à Mango (Togo) ; ; 255km
· Back to Togo! After almost half a month in Ghana it was good to be back on togoischem floor! The way there, however, was again dominated by some pretty interesting experiences. Even in Ghana, we had to go through a little town called Bawku, which has not been shown to be as easy as expected. At the entrance to the city we were stopped by two policemen, and they told us that it was not men in Bawku allowed to lead a motorcycle. Some years earlier, had a Group of men with the area insecure their bikes made by repeatedly had organized robbery. The motorcycles they used as escape vehicles. In the course of which one has summarily banned in Bawku men riding a motorcycle.
on how the police have assured that we would have known nothing of this new law, they let us pass. However, we should only drive through the city and not be relegated. And indeed, on our way through the city, we have not seen a single man on a motorcycle or a moped. Only very many bikes and some women all the more proud of their motorized companions.
· From Bawku from then it was only a few kilometers to the border. Shortly before the border then the next obstacle - a dry riverbed in front of us and a lot of cars stuck in the river sand. Photos made shortly and will tackle in the sandy waters toppled. Fortunately, we have come without problems through the sand barrier. In retrospect, we noticed that we, we would have come in the rainy season, stood before the river would have an insurmountable ... lucky ...

04.01.2011
Mango to Kante to Kara 192km
· on the capital of northern Togo. In the morning, but we still have a short trip to a nearby lake made. According to locals and travel guides, it should be there Hippos. After we found the lake at last, the time was to see Hippos (between five and sieben clock in the morning) actually exceeded long ago. No matter, the landscape around the lake is quite beautiful, then stop just a short walk. After three-quarters of an hour we just wanted to turn back again when we are not 30 meters a primordial breathing stopped. So we climbed quickly to the nearest tree and in fact we could see ahead of us in the lake to the head of a huge hippos. In the rising sun in the breakfast there in front of us swam in the lake.

05th - 07.01.2011
Kara à Sokodé à Atakpamé à Kpalimé 370km
· In the last days as comfortable holiday always drove south to be like then made it back to Kpalimé . Full of new impressions and experiences.

How Do You Save In Emerald Rom

Happy New Year 2011

Hi,

all a Happy New Year!

I hope the Christmas holidays and New Year were good there were beautiful fireworks?

Here I have spent the last evening of the old year with beautiful views of Kampala at night. There were some fireworks that were organized primarily by large hotels.

After the Christmas break I'm now back in Rukararwe where minor issues are still to complete, before heading into the cold Germany. An important issue is the tailoring workshop, which urgently needs support. Probably annoying eternal donations already, but now that I thank you for great support many of my personal fundraising 1.800 euro, with which the Weltwaerts-year permits have finished, I try to organize for specific projects to spot something. And again I have used "helpedias"
